Interview with Mr. Davis (Inclusion Specialist at HTHNC)


1. Do you work with anyone with dyslexia on a regular basis?

Yes, and in the past too. I have been working with students for years

2. Is it difficult to work with them?

No, it is just different learning technique, and it is great to find the technique that works for them.

3. Are you interested in dyslexia?

Yes I am, I take classes to learn more about helping these students and gaining more knowledge.

4. What are some of your strategies in working with dyslexic students?

I just try out different techniques, whether that be learning in a different environment, learning with colors, or other things

5. Do you enjoy working with students who have difficultly learning?

Yes I do, it’s my passion, it feels great to help students who have a different learning style and need extra help. I go to classes regularly to learn more and better aid the students I work with.
